From 4th July 2018 Bangkok International Auto Salon 2018 is held in Thailand. It is the same custom motorcycle festival as held in Japan, but there are also many motorcycle booths such as Yamaha, BMW, Royal Enfield, Benelli, and custom machines were also exhibited. Here, let's introduce Yoshimura Hayabusa TX-1 that was displayed in the Suzuki booth.
Exterior is also an evolution version different from X-1 44kg weight reduction
The Yoshimura Hayabusa TX-1 introduced here is one that appeared in 2016 as a model of "Yoshimura Hayabusa X-1", a custom complete motorcycle released for 100 units in 2000. It is not a Yoshimura Japan originally in Japan but a custom specification realized by collaboration between Yoshimura Asia founded in 2013 and local Suzuki sales company based in Thailand. The great difference from that in 2000 is that it is based on the evolved current Hayabusa. Also, exterior items are not used directly as X-1, but new designs are given. The weight of the motorcycle nominally 222 kilograms. It has achieved a weight saving of 44kg from 266kg STD. The price is very much higher than that of X-1 which was sold at 2.560 million yen (tax excluded) at that time, as option A was 1.65 million baht (about 5.45 million yen), option B was 2.5 million baht (about 675 million yen) It is a remium price setting.

[YOSHIMURA HAYABUSA TX-1 Price: 1.65 Million ~ 2.50 Million Baht (Approx. 545-675 Million Yen) TX-1 which is not on sale in Japan, marketed Hayabusa Racer of Suzuka 8 Class Victory Motorcycle of 2000. In 2000, the Hayabusa X-1 which they did was reproduced in a contemporary way. The price of Hayabusa in Thailand is 850 thousand baht (about 2.8 million yen) by the way, due to tariffs tax, it is more than 1 million yen more expensive than in Japan.

The impression from the front is similar to the former X-1, but slightly different TX-1 of the upper cowl. The tail cowl is completely different, TX-1 adopts the GSX-R system design and creates a light impression.

In the X-1, the exhaust system that was supposed to be the right one was put out in the TX-1 two left and right. The fuel tank has been changed to the same aluminum as the Suzuka 8 rustproof racer.

The brake caliper adopts four bowls of piston diameter Φ 32 mm / Φ 34 mm by cutting of Brembo. The combined brake disc is a T-drive that uses a T-shaped floating pin with better heat resistance.

Fuel tank is original made of aluminum developed by Yoshimura when false hayabusa is turned into a race, capacity is 24 L (STD is 21 L).

Hayabusa's seat cowl aiming for the fastest speed in the world has a bump shape, and X-1 follows it as well. However, in TX-1, the image has been renewed as a super sports-like design with GSX-R as a motif.

X-1 developed by fully introducing Yoshimura's know-how. In addition to incorporating 65mm high-compression piston kit and ST 1 camshaft into the engine, fine tuning such as port polishing and valve rubbing is added. Tri-oval titanium cyclone is combined with this, and the maximum output 193ps is beaten out. Basically around the foot we use the parts of the STD, only tuned to the front. As you can see, the exterior is a spartan direct line of the racer, full painting with Yoshimura color.
