PANDO MOTO Motorcycle Wear: Does Your Motorcycle Wear Look Outdated?

Parts & Gear Reviews

Hello. I'm Nao, and I'm a Web Magazine writer.

Do you ever worry about what to wear when you ride your motorcycle? I'm quite worried about it. In my case, I ride a lot in the city, and I want to be careful about safety. You might be shock but I don't want to look like the end-of-the-century champion in rugged motorcycle clothing.

I am wondering if there is any motorcycle wear with a fashionable design that is reliable and suitable for everyday use.

...Oh! There is!...

a PANDO MOTO!

The photo is from the official Instagram of PANDO MOTO.

At first glance, it looks like an Instagram photo of a fashionable apparel brand, but PANDO MOTO is a well-established European motorcycle wear brand.

What is DYNEEMA, the strongest fiber material?

Please watch the following video first to know the performance of PANDO MOTO clothing.

A rider lying on the asphalt holding a rope tied to a motorcycle.

The next moment, the motorcycle starts up and he is being dragged across the asphalt!

After being dragged for 10 seconds, the rider can't help but let go of his hand.

Normally he wouldn't be safe, but when you look at the rider's buttocks as he stands up quickly... the pocket of his jeans has come off and tattered, but his body is intact, with no bruise in it!

You can see the smug look on his face even when he's wearing a helmet.

This is a promotional video for a material called DYNEEMA, which is used in PANDO MOTO jeans and jackets.

DYNEEMA is 15 times stronger than steel, yet extremely lightweight, and it is used as an earthquake-resistant reinforcing material for buildings, for reinforcing and stabilizing oil drilling rigs, and as a fabric for bulletproof clothing for the military.

It is currently the lightest and strongest fiber material on earth, surpassing carbon fiber.

If you fall on the asphalt, your ordinary jeans will be ripped like paper, so you can see how awesome Dyneema is.

I got the real item, so I checked out the texture and size.

DYNEEMA Military Jacket

I got this jacket called "Camo", a military style jacket with a stylish camouflage pattern. Of course it is made of DYNEEMA, the strongest material available.

It also comes with CE standard shoulder and elbow protectors for safety purposes. It also has a pocket for back protector.

Super tough denim pants in CORDURA and KEVLAR

Next is denim pants called "Karl Navy". These are not DYNEEMA, but a normal denim reinforced with CORDURA and KEVLAR. Both are very tough materials used for bulletproof vests and so on.

(The yellow part in the photo is the reinforcement part)

The pants also come with a CE standard knee protector.

Please note that the protector included is made by KNOX, a well-established British protector brand.

Review for size and wearability

First of all, let's talk about the size.

  • Model data
    Height 183cm / Weight 78kg

  • Jacket (M size)
I usually buy the L size jackets, but the M size fits me just right. It's a European brand so the sleeves are long.

  • Pants (W32/L34)
I usually choose W32 for pants. The pants I wore were skinny fit, so my waist was fine but my legs were a little cramped. Considering that I'm going to be putting a protector in my knee, I would recommend choosing a size with a little more space. They're stretchy and comfortable!

  • Wearability and design
The comfort is the same as normal denim. It feels stiff at first, but you'll get used to it as you wear it.

It looks great on an off-road motorcycle like the WR or a vintage machine like the Z. It's an exquisite design that's not worn too much on a motorcycle and not too much for everyday wear.

If you want to try it on, feel free go to the Sign House showroom (Setagaya)!
