This week's pickup reviews
It's cool, usually quiet, and fast when you rev it.
It seems to have been discontinued, so I searched all over the world for the last chance and imported it from Motardinn (Spain). I bought it for styling only, knowing the sound was bad.
[Sound]
It is as quiet as normal. If you drive normally, the motorcycle won't even look at you. There is almost no afterfire. However, it changes when it exceeds 4500 rpm. It's not JMCA certified, but if you measure it at half the maximum output RPM, it will pass with room to spare. Acceleration Noise is an e-marked product, so there is no problem as long as you carry the included certificate.
[Design]
It's a typical Akrapovic hexagonal and it's cool. However, as with other products of the time, there is no silencer band or joint spring because of the direct attachment bracket and intermediate pipe, so it lacks a little bit of raciness. The ends are made of carbon and have non-removable baffles welded in place. The baffle is a violation only because it can be removed, so I have no complaints about this point, but I would like the color to be black so that it is not noticeable.
[Color]
It's made of stainless steel, but it's blackish in color, not silver. The middle pipe directly attached to the silencer is also a beautiful color.
[Performance]
It is a little milder than WR'S with straight structure, but it is full of torque and easy to handle.
[General Comment]
If you want a noisy exhaust system, I wouldn't recommend it, but I think it's a good exhaust system that can be ridden quietly or fast depending on the scene with one accelerator. I recommend importing it because it is inexpensive, in the low 40,000 yen range.
