A custom machine of the new GROM (MSX-125) was unveiled at the Webike Plus meeting held at Twin Ring Motegi on July 4th. With the release of the new YOSHIMURA and MORIWAKI full exhaust system and NITRON rear suspension, customization is going to be a lot more exciting with the new GROM.
The YOSHIMURA R-77S Cyclone delivers power upgrades at all RPMs!
YOSHIMURA has released 2 types of exhaust systems for the new GROM, the GP-MAGNUM and the R-77S Cyclone. The R-77S Cyclone introduced here has enough capacity in the silencer to achieve increased power and torque at all RPMs. Of course, it is possible to use on public roads as it is a Japanese government-certified product that meets emission and noise regulations.
The sound quality is tuned for an elegant bass sound at low RPMs and a powerful exhaust sound that lifts the rider as the gas pedal is opened. The power of the starting dash and the acceleration from mid to high speed are adjusted for a more exciting ride than the STD. The weight is 2.6g (titanium blue cover) compared to STD 3.3kg, a weight reduction of 21%.
YOSHIMURA Machine Bent R-77S Cyclone EXPORT SPEC Japanese government-certified is 476.64 USD to 549.28 USD.
The silencer in the photo is a Metal Magic Cover and costs 531.12 USD. The YOSHIMURA logo is placed on the rubber part of the exhaust spring.
The YOSHIMURA logo is also casually marked on the silencer end ring.
MORIWAKI's full exhaust system ZERO contributes to weight reduction with a standalone weight of 2kg.
MORIWAKI unveiled the orthodox, true circle type full exhaust system ZERO.
The sporty style of the large-diameter tailpiece also provides a distinctive sound that can be enjoyed from city driving to winding roads. In terms of performance, the power and torque are greatly increased especially at low and mid speeds and top end. The Anodized Titanium (ANO) shown in the photo weighs 2kg on its own, 1.3kg lighter than the STD. Other products in the lineup include BP-X, which is blacked out to a deep gloss using special technology.
MORIWAKI has also released a full exhaust system MEGAPHONE for the new GROM. It has a classic short megaphone silencer, which is also an option if you want a street style.
The MORIWAKI Full Exhaust System ZERO ANO uses a titanium silencer and weighs only 2kg. The price is 408.55 USD.
MORIWAKI's original black finishing, named BP-X = Black Pearl Kai, is now a popular color. The silencer is stainless steel and weighs 2.1kg, priced at 408.55 USD.
The Full Exhaust System MEGAPHONE BK is stainless steel with a matte black finishing in a katakana logo. The price is 381.32 USD.

The Handlebar Holder Upper Black is an integrated left-right design with the MORIWAKI logo in the center. The price is 65.14 USD.
NITRON introduces a full-spec adjuster for the GROM suspension
NITRON's MNI R1 series, which greatly improves the performance of the rear suspension of the new GROM without an adjustment mechanism, has been released. The R1 is designed for street use, and even though it is an entry-level model, it offers compression and rebound damper adjustment, as well as preload adjustment.
NITRON also offers the MINI R3 series for the new GROM. The damping force can be adjusted in 3 ways, and is an advanced version that includes the same functions as the big motorcycles version. In addition to the 2 compression dampers (high-speed and low-speed), the rebound dampers can be adjusted to suit any application, from street to race.
The new GROM is equipped with NITRON's MINI R1, which uses machined aluminum parts whenever possible to ensure high heat dissipation and rigidity.
