The cowhide short glove I had been using, made by LEAD Industry Co., Ltd., had become quite tattered over the past six years, and the seam on the thumb part had ripped, so I bought this glove.
The leather is neither overly thick or soft, and I am pleased with the mobility with which I can move my fingers.
I usually wear a large size glove and it's usually just right, but this glove is a little small. I'm sure it'll expand a little with use, so it won't be an issue.
For a Japanese cowhide short glove of this quality, a price of less than 54 USD seems affordable.
Many of you may have never heard of this brand, T's RIDERS GEAR. However, if you hear "TANIO Corporation," I'm sure some of you may know it. Speaking of TANIO gloves, this is one of the most popular brands among riders who are not race oriented but are concerned about safety. For return riders, I'm sure many of you have used it.
I remember that there was an established reputation for quality and sturdiness rather than flamboyance from those days, but even though "TANIO" has disappeared from the brand name, its quality and sturdiness seem to be alive and well.
