This Z900RS was a custom model displayed in the Active booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show. The concept of the customization was "street customization that the owner can realistically envision." Rather than using an abundance of expensive parts, the Z900RS uses mainly cost-effective items.

Using the world's most advanced, cutting-edge parts, this Z900RS renews the base model's distinctive retro taste, reflecting the styling of the base model and how Z1 was created. Ohlins inverted front forks, Brembo radial mount calipers, and carbon parts including the wheels are all parts that change the Z900RS's retro image around.

This Z900RS is a customization that combines style and performance. The point is to create the air-cooled Z looks like 1970s. The wheels are therefore changed from the stock 17-inch to 18-inch. The exhaust has also been changed from the stock assembly type to a quad tail specificaiton.
