Here's a touring experience among the riders, who submitted the Webike Community "MOTO HACK Touring" Campaign, about using a touring item that you might be interested in.
Here are some of the other riders' favorite goodies you don't usually get to see!
In this issue, I would like to share with you some of Ninnin's favorite items and ideas on his GPZ900R.
Ninnin's profile
About the motorcycle
KAWASAKI GPZ900R A12 (1999 Japanese specifications)
I bought a used GPZ900R in 2009, and it's 11 years old in 2020, almost 50,000km!
The usual touring style
I mainly use it for day touring and camp touring.
Annual mileage: about 2,000-3,000km and I'm still raising my child, so I haven't been able to drive the distance.
What I enjoy about touring?
It's fun to flush the passes down the road and take a hot spring bath. Long tours with a load of camping gear are great. (I'd love to visit Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku again!)
I prefer the campsite right near the hot springs. It's a great place to eat, drink beer, and soak in the hot springs.
Favorite Spot
Biei, Furano, Kushiro Marsh, and Aso: Great scenery!
Nyuto Onsen and Kurokawa Onsen: You will want to take a bath in various hot springs.
Oshika Peninsula: the winding is nice.
Too many things to write about!
What are your favorite items?
Manufacturer Name: Runcircle
Product Name: Gas Can Stand Type Gas Conversion Adapter with Foldable Tripod
Convenient usage and favorite points
Common use
I use it on a burner for OD cans and connect CB cans to it.
Useful tips and tricks
Using CB cans (cassette cylinder cans) to burners and gas lanterns, etc. for OD cans
and burners are available as fuel.
Recommendations.
I recommend it because it allows you to use CB cans as fuel, which are readily available at convenience stores and supermarkets when camp touring in Hokkaido for a week.
Summary
- Benefits
This adapter allows you to use readily available and inexpensive CB cans as fuel for burners and gas lanterns. - Disadvantages
I don't get the outdoor vibe of an OD can! At high altitudes and in cold weather, OD can for it is advantageous, so you can't use it in that case. - Reviews
Anyway, it's convenient to use CB cans, which are cheap and available everywhere, with equipment for OD cans.
