In this article, I would like to share with you some of Ninnin's favorite touring items and ideas on his GPZ900R.

Ninnin's profile

About the motorcycle

KAWASAKI GPZ900R A12 (1999 Japan specifications)
I bought used in 2009, 11 years old in 2020, almost 50,000km!

The usual touring style

I mainly use it for day touring and camping touring. Annual mileage: about 2,000 to 3,000 km and I'm still raising my child, so I haven't been able to drive the distance.

What I enjoy about touring?

It's fun to flush the passes down the road and take a hot tub. Long tours with a load of camping gear are great. (I'd love to go back to Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku again! I prefer the campground right near the hot springs. It's a great place to eat, drink beer, and soak in the hot springs.

Favorite Spot

Biei, Furano, Kushiro Marsh, and Aso: Great scenery!
Nyuto Onsen and Kurokawa Onsen: You will want to take a bath in various hot springs.
Oshika Peninsula: the winding is nice.

Useful uses and favorite points

Usual use

I put it on before I get on the highway.

Useful tips and tricks

It reduces wind noise, road noise, and engine noise on the motorcycle for a comfortable ride. Also, as I'm sure many of you are using intercoms these days, it's surprisingly easy to hear conversations, navigation directions, and music from about 100km/h onwards due to wind noise, but it's surprisingly easy to hear.

Recommendations

Fatigue and stress at high speeds are greatly reduced, and you won't be able to hear the noise around you. It is recommended to reduce fatigue and increase safety.

Summary

[Benefit]
It reduces wind and road noise at high speeds and makes intercom audio easier to hear.

[Disadvantage]
It will be quiet, so be careful not to drive too fast if you're riding in your usual sense.

Review
It's also easier to listen to the intercom because it lowers the noise of wind-cutting and other noises and makes it less tiring. I don't feel much discomfort when wearing it. The first time I used it, I wished I had used it sooner. It is recommendable.
