We've got some useful motorcycle cleaning products and methods to share with you that were submitted to the Webike Community "MOTO HACK: Motorcycle Cleaning Hack" Campaign!
I would like to introduce you to the motorcycle cleaning products and methods of Shibu who rides the YZF-R1.
Motorcycle and self-introduction
[Brief self-introduction]
I've been riding motorcycles for about 27 years, starting with mid-size models.
The models I have owned are NS250R→RGV250Γ→GSX-R750→GSX-R1100→GPz900R→ZX-11→CBR1100XX→MT-07.
[Motorcycle introduction]
I'm currently riding my first new motorcycle in my life, an MT-07. I mainly enjoy touring (and sometimes camping).
But I couldn't do long touring last year because of Corona. I haven't been able to do any touring like riding yet this year. It's about the time I ran to Lake Yamanaka in temperatures that were more painful than cold to distract myself from a toothache (cavity). I probably wouldn't have gone if I didn't have a toothache.
My previous motorcycle was a heavy CBR1100XX, but I was too lazy to get it in and out of the house etc, so I looked for a lighter vehicle and found this motorcycle. I never imagined that being light could be so much fun. I've had it for 5 years and I'm still enjoying the ride.
Motorcycle cleaning commitment
[Directionality]
I wash or rather clean the motorcycle with the aim of "if you clean the noticeable parts, it looks beautiful" and "you can drive comfortably". So, I always wipe the blue parts (wheels and frame) after riding. Other parts I often pretend not to see. Along with that, I also clean the chain after cleaning the motorcycle to feel the lightness.
[The point where I want to clean up here]
I bought this motorcycle new, so I've seen how beautiful it is. So now, five years later, it's pretty dirty from that. I struggle with time and motivation, but as I mentioned, I try to keep the blue areas clean at all times. That way it will look beautiful from a distance (I believe).

Motorcycle cleaning products I'm aiming for in the future
I think it is important to wash the motorcycle often and keep it clean, so I want to keep riding a clean motorcycle with chemical products that can give it a shine without using too much water (wiping is also hard).
I will borrow the wisdom of my predecessors from the internet, shops, and Webike's Magazine to find easy ways and supplies to keep it clean. In addition to cleanliness, we hope that frequent contact with the motorcycle will lead to the early detection of abnormalities.
