1. MICHELIN POWER5: High grip for streets that can be enjoyed even in wet conditions
Introducing the new POWER5 model focusing on street performance among the POWER EXPERIENCE series.
The POWER5 is designed to provide excellent performance on the streets, and the use of a silica compound and a new tread pattern offers both excellent dry grip and wet performance. It is possible to enjoy more sports riding regardless of the season and weather.
Among the POWER EXPERIENCE series, POWER5 / POWER GP is an evolution of the previous POWER RS, which was highly acclaimed both on the street and on the circuit. The pattern is also designed to let you feel the connection with other POWER EXPERIENCE series and POWER RS / ROAD 5. Among the them, POWER5 features a dimple pattern and square-shaped narrow groove on the shoulder.
As an image, this tire has been developed and further deepened, specializing in the street suitability of the previous POWER RS.
The MICHELIN POWER5 is recommended to enjoy with confidence in a high dry grip on the street, reliable, and proven wet performance.
2. MICHELIN POWER GP: Recommended for both streets and circuits
Introducing POWER GP recommended for both circuit and street performance among the POWER EXPERIENCE series.
POWER GP has optimized its internal structure and tread compound to exert excellent potential on both circuit and street. It achieves a riding pleasure and stability from city riding to winding and also provides riders with all-round performance with a view to high performance on the circuit.
This is a normal evolution model of the previous POWER RS compared with POWER5 which is specialized for street suitability. The previous POWER RS had a street and circuit usage rate of 85:15, while POWER GP has a usage rate of 50:50. By the way, as POWER5 assumes 100% street, the lineup is easy to select when applied to your motorcycle life.
The POWER GP, which has further refined its combat power on the circuit without sacrificing public road performance, is recommended for riders who want to enjoy both winding and circuit.
3. MICHELIN POWER CUP2: For aggressive riding on the circuit
Introducing the new model POWER CUP2 specialized for circuit riding among the POWER EXPERIENCE series.
POWER CUP2 is a circuit tire allowed to use on public roads with generous feedback of cultivated technology from the race in order to enjoy a more aggressive ride from race to circuit riding.
So far, the introduced POWER5 and POWER GP are tires with street suitability, but for POWER CUP2, the usage rate for street and circuit is 10%: 90%, finishing as an aggressive tire for the circuit. The pattern also shows that tendency wherein you will able to see that the groove is smaller and the sidewall is closer to a slick.
As for the compound assuming for city use tire, another feature is that it is composed of only black carbon, which emphasizes dry grip, rather than the silica used for obtaining wet grip and warmth.
Please enjoy the performance of POWER CUP2, which is the feedback of many technologies cultivated in racing activities represented by MotoGP™.

4. MICHELIN ROAD5: Focus for on high wet performance
Introducing ROAD5, which has been popular since its release due to its high wet performance.
The ROAD5 offers excellent wet grip, providing many riders the pleasure of riding regardless of the season or the weather. Furthermore, it suppresses the deterioration of performance even when worn out and achieves excellent straight-line stability and handling, which improves security and reliability on dry and wet roads.
Speaking of rain, the image of MICHELIN is characterized by its wet performance, which is not an exaggeration to say even though it was attached by this ROAD series. Thanks to ROAD5 special shape as a major point for this product where the groove of tire widens as the tire goes deeper to be able to maintain the same performance as the new product of the previous ROAD4 even after traveling 5000km.
ROAD5 not only improves wet performance, but also the evolution of its dry grip is a point not to be overlooked. This is also a sensible element from where it is based on the adopted pattern for POWER RS, and specifically, it improves the lightness of handling and stability when banking.
During the touring season from spring, we recommend ROAD5, which has improved dry and wet grip performance from the previous PILOT ROAD4!
