Here is a "KAWASAKI W800" custom by Webike community user "i-Ball". Captivated by the sound of the R's Gear Wyvern Classic exhaust, the owner decided to replace the stock W800 exhaust. It has been reborn with the unmistakable deep sound characteristic of the W800's vertical twin. The steel chrome-plated exterior offers a beautiful heat color, unique and distinct from titanium or stainless steel. The most notable improvement was the reduction in weight. The stock pads on the W800 were a little unreliable, so they were replaced with DAYTONA's Golden Brake Pads X, as controllability was a top priority. While the previous model's brake pads were already efficient, the new version appears to be easier to handle. The handlebar was replaced with the POSH Faith Touring Bar, allowing precise adjustments to achieve a better posture and position tailored to the rider's preference. He describes it as "the nostalgic Kawasaki position". The POSH Faith Rising Meter Bracket can be used to adjust the orientation of the stock meters to a position that makes them more visible and enhances readability even during nighttime rides. The Bevel Gear Cover with the impactful 'W' logo is a timeless favorite of W800 owners. The HURRICANE rear carrier is sturdy and large enough to load your cargo for touring. Its design is so seamless that it blends seamlessly with the stock appearance of the bike. The Sym’z Craft Classical Fender-Styled Side Back Support Bar not only adds a vintage style but also reduces vibrations. It accentuates the classic style, reminiscent of MEGURO (from Meguro Manufacturing Co). A POSH Faith Mesh Injection Cover is another standout addition. It transforms the appearance and mood of the bike. Beyond aesthetics, it adds to the mechanical style and serves as heat insulation. However, the most transformative change in this custom was the ACTIVE Performance Damper. It significantly reduced vibrations transmitted from the bike, resulting in a smoother ride. The reduction in swaying and juddering during high-speed and winding roads gives a sense of security to the rider. The W800 is a bike that can be enjoyed with a laid-back, natural riding style. The owner says he will continue to run the bike well, creating tasteful memories with the W800.
