The stock steps are designed to cover the frame.
When it was removed, it was found that the design of the frame hidden by the step plate was different from the pipe shape, which was better not to be exposed as it is.
So, Striker designed the full plate design to cover the frame like the stock one!
Of course, it is designed to be compatible with the stock quickshifter.
