This bike came in with a clear issue witht he electronics at start up. With a bit of investigating one of the coils appeared to be at fault. Upon further inspection it seems as though there was additional heat to the coil from a misplaced heat shield. The others were perfectly within specs so no need to replace the set. Not a problem as Webike stock a lot of parts for the CBR650R. The cost fo the coil was pretty reasonable and better than could be sourced locally. I did have a couple of other parts in the order so got hem all shipped via EMS together so save a little cost. My order arrived safely in 5 days and the packaging was excellent as everythihg was surrounded by bubble wrap. The coil itself is nothing too special to look at but I did a resistance test prior to fitting as it would be a pain to remove after the fact. All was good with the resistance so the fitting went ahead. Took around an hour and a half to finish off and the result is plain to hear. The start up and tick over is spot on with no fluctuations. Very pleased this was sorted out so fast and easily. thanks Webike, great job.
